The Alto TR1 is a single-season, self-supporting tent designed for your spring, summer and autumn adventures. It is at the meeting point between ultralight and more spacious and comfortable tents. Enjoy the unparalleled space that the Tension Ridge™ arch system (patent pending) gives this tent, along with unprecedented interior height, a large entrance door and a spacious forecourt for storing your gear. The adjustable and efficient ventilation system, combined with multiple mounting options, makes this tent the epitome of comfort and versatility. This tent offers many intuitive features, such as our FairShare system, with its dual-use pouches that can be attached to the tent for extra storage space, or our Lightbar lighting system. Equipped with a mesh chamber and some of the best performing bows in the world (DAC's Featherlite NFL and PRESSFIT), the ultra-lightweight Alto TR1 tent is ready to accompany you on your fast-and-light adventures.

Tension ridge
Tension Ridge poles face upwards, like the dihedral wing of an aircraft, rather than downwards as is often the case with tents. This improves the shape of the tent, providing much more head and shoulder room, higher doors, easier access and more usable space in the vestibule.

Quick-coupling pole feet
Typical of Sea to Summit's commitment to fine-tuning details to make equipment more functional and friction-free, these machined aluminium clips make mounting the rain cover (with the inner tent or with a footprint in an ultralight configuration) quick and easy. And they are much stronger than plastic buckles.

Modular storage / light bar
Each Sea to Summit tent is contained in three storage bags so that the load can be easily distributed. During set-up, two bags turn into tool storage pockets, while the pole bag (with translucent diffuser) becomes a light bar. Add one or two front lamps for soft lighting throughout the tent.

Apex ventilation/ base ventilation
Mounted at the highest point, Apex vents allow warm, moist air to escape and channel fresh air into the tent. The vent can be easily closed from inside the tent and does not require mesh to maintain its shape, greatly improving airflow. The Baseline vent allows you to control humidity in humid conditions by opening or closing the lower part of the door, maintaining the vestibule function and rain protection for your equipment.

• The Ridge tension poles are angled upwards - and not downwards as is common in tents. This increases the shape of the tent, offering much more living space
• Apex Vent - at the highest part of the tent, this large vent effectively expels warm air to prevent condensation and can be easily zipped up from inside the tent
• Vents at the bottom allow you to control the air flow and effectively manage moisture and condensation in humid conditions without letting rain in.
• The quick-connect foot is a beautifully designed aluminium clip that easily secures the pole and inner foot and is stronger than plastic buckles that can break
