Lightweight, windproof and breathable jacket with Polartec® Alpha® Direct active insulation, developed for speed hiking and mountain training. Created to celebrate X-Alps 2023, the 20th anniversary of the iconic Hike & Fly competition in the mountains. The X-Alps Pedroc Pro Polartec® Alpha® jacket is ideal for high intensity mountain use, and for stop-and-go training with extreme temperature variations and changing weather conditions. It provides hybrid warmth and maximum breathability, combining lightweight, breathable and water-repellent nylon/Tencel main fabric with Polartec® Alpha® Direct active insulation panels positioned at the front of the torso and upper arms. On the inside, soft fibres regulate heat and dry quickly. The more intensive the effort, the more the Polartec® Alpha® insulation adjusts to regulate body temperature. The perforated Durastretch softshell fabric is positioned in the centre back and lower sleeves to ensure greater breathability and thermal comfort, together with stretch mesh inserts that provide ample freedom of movement. This sporty cut jacket features a fleece-lined inner collar, reflective details for increased visibility, and two large hidden zipped pockets. It is a SALEWA® Committed product that meets our high environmental and sustainability standards and has a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish. The versatile and functional solution that provides light and efficient insulation during medium-intensity mountain activities.
