The messenger bag-style backpack has been one of ORTLIEB's most popular products for years.

It is simply unbeatable for everyday use at school, university, in sports and leisure, and for going to work. The Velocity is robust and waterproof, and its special trademark is the characteristic back padding that ensures good breathability. Now the carrying system, especially the shoulder straps, has been ergonomically optimised for an even more comfortable carrying experience. The hip belt is easily adjustable and also completely removable. Access and arrangement of the contents are incredibly easy thanks to the Velcro roll closure. If, for example, the Velcro flap wears out after many years of intensive use, you can send your Velocity to ORTLIEB, have the Velcro replaced and give your backpack a new lease of life. All backpack components are easy to replace or repair. This makes the Velocity a sustainable companion for life. The interior has been redesigned: the Velocity now has a padded laptop compartment in addition to the large zipped inner compartment. And the biggest innovation is that the Velocity is now also available in smaller and larger sizes. With a volume of 17 l or 29 l and new equipment details, the Velocity backpack family now really has something to offer everyone. Those who want to dispense with the classic tarp look can have the Velocity PS in PU-coated nylon fabric (17 & 23 L). The 29 litre version also offers an external front pocket. The corner protectors on the lower corners protect against wear and tear. You can also attach a rear light or bicycle helmet to the Velcro. Like all ORTLIEB products, it is naturally sustainable and made in Germany.
