Opinel N 8 Inox knife kit + sheath

The N°08 is THE versatile knife: essential during sports, bivouacs, it also is very appreciated for fishing and hunting.
With its alpine sheath that has a passing and a leather lace, it will follow you everywhere. Its stainless steel blade is corrosion-resistant. The beech wood handle is comfortable in the hand. The security system, the Virobloc®, blocks the blade in open position and closed position. Made with Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge.Blade hardness 57-58 HRC. The classic Opinel blade has adopted a Yatagan shape. The Yatagan shape is inspired by a traditional Turkish saber, the toe up. The blade is ground to an exclusive convex profile that ensures the strength of the blade and allows efficient regrinding.
