La Sportiva Trango TRK Leather GTX boots
A trekking and backpacking boot with a look and technology deriving from the Trango family, ideal for off track trails, walks in the woods and excursions with a heavy backpack. This model distinguishes itself from the other trekking products thanks to the innovative waterproof leather Idro-Perwanger, keeping weight and volume in check. The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane guarantees breathability and waterproofness, the 3D Flex system applied to the heel provides support and allows for the maximum control on steep terrain. The graded lacing system allows for perfect regulation of volumes while the Vibram sole with Climbing zone at the toe makes the shoe idea for via ferratas. The Trango look and La Sportiva technology combine for comfort, protection and safety in the mountains.

Technologies
Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® fabrics offer long-lasting, comfortable weather protection. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, yet big enough for perspiration to pass right through. Gore-Tex® products have a high waterproof rating (water column) and can withstand up to 28,000 mm of water pressure – more than monsoon rain. The membrane is bonded between an outer fabric and a high-performance lining. Depending on the construction, the result is either a 2-layer, 2.5-layer or 3-layer laminate. Gore-Tex® in a 3-layer construction offers a combination of enhanced durability and high breathability, while the 2-layer laminate provides lightweight weather protection.
VIBRAM®
Vibram® soles, thanks to the combination of hyper-functional design and exclusive rubber compounds, ensure best performances in terms of comfort and lasting quality.
Impact Brake System
The innovative system is applied to the sole to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill. Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages during racing by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground, for maximum impact absorption.
3D Flex System
An innovative multidirectional hinge on the upper allows the ankle to make the most of its natural characteristics without losing stability.
