Stellar AD GTX is an ultra-lightweight, crampon-able high-altitude shoe, ideal for use on rock, mixed terrain, snow, ice and climbing

Its secret is the new construction technique of the sole block: the foot is directly welcomed by the soft PU midsole to maximize the benefits of cushioning in terms of support, as well as impact with bumps.

Technologies

Upper
Wrap-around upper is made of abrasion-resistant fabric with ultra-performance rubber reinforcement at the toe box. The gusset with external exhaust perfectly wraps the shin and malleolus area without overlapping and compression: the fit is made even more comfortable by the resistant and light protective border with Lycra cuff.

Smart Lace System
The lacing system Smart Lace System is fast and enveloping, with double lace stopper button to maximize the performance of fit and ensure maximum precision of the fit, thanks to the asymmetrical and very advanced positioning of the closure that allows a correct flex.

Sole
The innovative Vibram Stellar block is designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb drainage that lightens the structure, facilitates thermal insulation and shock-absorbing effect. The encased midsole in dual density PU foam sits above the PU insole, which is also perforated to relieve weight and increase torsional stability. The sole block integrates the insert for the predisposition to the use of semi-automatic crampons.

Ankle Lock System
The Kayland Ankle Lock Technology protects the ankle and keeps it firmly in place, allowing natural movement. The heel is anchored with ergonomic padding to prevent the formation of blisters.
